‘A Historic Day and A Valuable Legacy for Resistance’

Tehran - The spokesperson for the Constitutional Council- who on Sunday joined hundreds of thousands of mourners in Beirut to bid farewell to Martyr Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah- upon his return to Tehran- in a short piece described the funeral day as “a historic day that will remain as a valuable legacy for the future of resistance.”

‘A Historic Day and A Valuable Legacy for Resistance’

According to the Public Relations Office of the Constitutional Council, Dr. Hadi Tahan Nazif, in a personal note titled "A Historic Day and A Valuable Legacy for Resistance” wrote:

This trip surpassed the bounds of a formal mission or political delegation; it was a profound immersion into the heart of deeply held beliefs that resonate far beyond the political sphere. Beyond the formalities and administrative duties, it felt less like a funeral and more like a pilgrimage, a spiritual experience that stirred the soul and prompted deep reflection. Standing beside the revered bodies of Martyrs Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyid Sayyed Hashem Safieddine was not simply a gesture of respect for heroes immortalized in the annals of resistance. Still, an opportunity to grasp the profound depth of their sacrifice, comprehend the essence of resistance they embodied, reaffirm its core values, and witness the resilient spirit of the people firsthand, unfiltered by the distorted narratives of hostile media.

Amidst the fervent and courageous atmosphere, it struck me that the Sayyid of Resistance understood these people intimately, which is why he saw victory as inevitable. Every poem and slogan, resonating with heroism and hope, every flag waving triumphantly in the sky, seemed to narrate the glorious history and promising future of the resistance.

The sheer magnificence of the ceremony demanded complete and unwavering attention. From the defiant cries of anger and courage against the regime's cowardly aerial maneuvers to the poignant tears of sorrow for fallen comrades, the resounding message was clear: resistance lives on. It was a message of unwavering vitality, dynamism, and a hopeful vision of future victory. Despite the loss of prominent figures, the resistance remains resolute and optimistic.

In conclusion, February 23, 2025, marked a historic day, a day that solidified a valuable legacy for the future of resistance. The ceremony echoed the enduring conviction that resistance is not a mere option, but a fundamental duty in the face of oppression.
