During the Council’s regular weekly meeting on Wednesday, Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati referred to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution’s designation of the new year as the year of "Investments for Production."
He said “Fulfilling this slogan would help resolve the country’s economic challenges and is a collective responsibility.”
The senior cleric added that the Leader’s selection of the annual slogan is not merely a ceremonial recommendation but a well-informed decision based on a comprehensive understanding of the country’s capacities, needs, and a precise analysis of its conditions across various sectors.
Ayatollah Jannati emphasized that boosting production strengthens the nation, making it a vital value that must be promoted widely.
He also noted that encouraging public investment in production requires cultural groundwork.
The Secretary of the Constitutional Council highlighted that the overvaluation of non-productive economic activities weakens the culture of hard work in society and, in the long run, will lead to economic and social crises.
