Ayatollah Mohammad Reza Modarresi-Yazdi, born 1955 in Yazd, is one of the 12 members of the Constitutional Council. He is also a member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom, spending his life teaching philosophy, ethics, and various seminary courses. Ayatollah Modarresi-Yazdi is also a university instructor and member of Iran's National Elites Foundation.
