Ayatollah Jannati offers Christmas greetings to Christians
Secretary of the Constitutional Council Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati congratulated all Christians on the birth anniversary of the divine prophet, Jesus Christ.
Addressing the weekly meeting of the Council on Wednesday in Tehran, Ayatollah Jannati expressed his felicitations over the auspicious birth anniversary of the great prophet, noting, “Jesus Christ belongs to all nations around the world”.
“The honor and love Muslims attribute to Jesus Christ (pbuh) is no less than his position and merit in the eyes of the Christian believers in Christianity,” he added.
The head of the Constitutional Court also prayed that God bestow on us his grace to follow the teachings of the prophets and act upon them.
Christmas or Christmas Day is an annual commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ, celebrated generally on December 25 as a religious and cultural holiday by millions of people around the world.
