Ayatollah Jannati: General Soleimani’s assassination exposes US hypocrisy
On the anniversary of the martyrdom of a prominent Iranian general General Qassem Soleimani, the Secretary of the Constitutional Council Ayatollah Jannati issued a strong condemnation of his assassination, denouncing it as an act of terrorism carried out by global powers.
The Secretary emphasized that the assassination of this "global hero in the fight against terrorism" unequivocally exposed the hypocrisy of American politicians who claim to champion peace.
He further argued that the US and its allies mistakenly believe that eliminating resistance fighters would guarantee the security of the Israeli regime.
However, the Secretary stressed that the Islamic Revolution and the sacrifices of countless martyrs have transformed the resistance movement into a global ideology destined to dismantle oppressive powers.
The Secretary concluded by reaffirming the unwavering truth that, despite temporary setbacks, the forces of justice will ultimately prevail over tyranny, a principle he asserted is rooted in divine law.
